Move PHP + Wordpress site to new host

Description of every page/module: My client has asked us to move their site from over-the-top Rackspace cloud hosting to something much simpler. For whatever reason, they don't want to use their original site devs to do this.

I believe it's PHP with the blog as Wordpress.

I have login info for the site backend (some sort of custom(?) area at the current web devs to alter the text on the site); I have Wordpress login info, and I have Rackspace login info.

Rackspace hosting seems to be a 'cloud' 2 vCPU, 2GB RAM, set up on Linux 10.04. Can't see FTP access so probably needs more techie route to get to the files.
Description of requirements/features: Need prices for 2 key steps:

1) take all existing site, and set up (as per client request) on shared hosting package we'd provide and see how the site feels. This space would have easy FTP access and easy to install WP. There's no email accounts, as the form on the site forwards content to a 3rd party.

See how the site 'feels' in this hosting area and that may be it, job done.

2) If client feels they want more than the shared hosting, then we moved everything instead to another VPS server (I need to find the correct host link, on the wrong machine right now) where I guess Linux will need to be configured etc for hosting this website.

Can you let me know prices for both parts 1 and 2 separately please.

Client is looking to do this asap, within the next 48hrs max.

The only other thing I can think of to mention is that the form that visitors fill in on the site will be changed - but apparently that's in an iFrame anyway...
