Description
Experience Level: Expert
Please only apply if you speak fluent English as I feel there could be a language barrier when trying to explain the requirements.
Firstly I am a web developer myself, and this is my first time using ReactJS. I need to get this project right so I am looking to pay someone to help guide me on the work I have done so far and also help setup some routing using react-transition-group and react-router-dom
So this is more like a consultation job with some coding required.
So far I have just built the project page with a partially working routing, but I am getting stuck on setting up the react-transition-group stuff.
What I would like you to do ideally, would be to come in and first
1. Understand the project
2. Look at my code (there is currently just one main component to look at for the project page and the app.js component)
3. Suggest improvements to my code and possibly you can help with these on your own branch of my Git repo.
4. Setup the routes with react-transition-group and react-router-dom so that I can create my page transition animations.
The page transitions need to be different depending on which route the user is on and which route they are going to.
For example when going from Project A to Project B
i.e. from /project/:slug to /project/:slug
The transition needs to be a certain animation effect than if the user was going from say Project A to About us page
The routing will be for the following pages
- Homepage
- Projects page
- Project page (dynamic routing based on URL slug)
- About us
- Contact
Please see this website (https://kern.inc) for a basic idea of how the page transitions differ, for example:
Projects page TO Project A (https://kern.inc - you must click on a project)
or between projects/work (https://kern.inc/works/mrcheesecake - you must click on the tab on the bottom right "Next work is")
This is very similar to what we are trying to recreate.
Hope this has been clear, any questions give me a shout.
