Description
Experience Level: Expert
We use Articulate Storyline as an authoring tool for our elearning courses.
We want to allow the user to download the notes they take while completing our course as a PDF on their device. The notes themselves are saved as variables in Storyline.
Here is our course:
https://360.articulate.com/review/content/7a9a0de6-228d-415d-95db-835b64019b0a/review
The learner enters values into the calendar and then selects ‘Print’. This action saves the values as variables and then on the next screen, we want to execute javascript which saves a template PDF with the variables entered by the user inserted into the corresponding places.
More concisely:
1) User enters data
2) User clicks print
3) Data entered by user is saved as a pdf (over a template, see attachments)
Steps (1) and (2) are already completed and shown on link above. We need help with the third and final step.
There is a very similar process here, the only difference being the layout of the final PDF.
