General information for the app: iPhone App: - Simple Shopping & Messaging App - Less than 10 categories
Kind of development: New app from scratch
Description of requirements/features: Hi,

Budget: US$ 2,050 + Bounce: US$ 250. The project is for educational purposes/research.

Scope:
- Simple Shopping & Messaging App
- Shopping Categories: between 7 and 10 Departments - No Sub-Categories > means super simple; I’ll provide details later on.
- Similar to Instagram & Whatsapp; since those are what the target users are familiar with.
- I really have no time nor the experience to give you more details/ideas; but I shall share with you images, and ideas from the target users.
- Need someone to take the lead & complete the project; from user requirements phase to the final Apple Apps Store (Working App - No bugs).
- Suggest & deal with a hosting company till the project is up and running
- FYI: The App will be used to study user behaviors/trends in a certain country. Means that this will be a continuous project and might need your help in the future; we will discuss and agree on the rate later.
- My Shop feature for all users: Photos/Short Videos.
- There will be no buying/selling - Users only will view items then communicate with the each other. since the user preferences is CASH.

Current Situation in this country:
- Users use Instagram as a shopping tools to provide both goods and services. Images will be provided.
- Communication through whatsapp ( & sometimes Telegram).
- Advertisements about new products and sometime repost old products: Sellers send messages to his list to invite buyers to view their products in a certain date/time. (I know it sounds strange, but this what they do :) )
- Buyers communicate with sellers through whatsapp or other chatting app to agree on the price, quantities, and the location to meet to trade

Type of order:
- Goods: almost everything: clothes; food; jewelry; ….
- Services: catering; serving; at-home makeup, hairdresser (there are many mobile hairdresser in this country …)
> Always a home delivery order or meeting at an agreed location to pick up the order.

Challenges:
- If the buyers want to buy more or view the products again; they ask the seller to repost the products again or resend the details through messaging apps ... they rely on whatsapp or other chatting app ….
- No Search engine for the products … buyers keep explaining the product details till the sellers remember and find the right product … again they use whatsapp or other chatting app …
- Prices are not linked to products; since they use only images … an image that contains 6 or sometimes nine products.
- No rating or feedback features

Design:
- Something really simple; or beyond simplicities … those buyers/sellers are really lazy to learn new tools. We need to understand Instagram & Whatsapp then come up with a new design. I’ll share a few images with you.
- Graphics and icons should really look fancy & piece of art - since high graphics design attract those types of users :)

Features:
- Please suggest
- User: My Shop, … can be seller & buyer @ the same time
- Option for seller to leave suggested pick up location or home deliver feature
- Integration with other apps is not required, since I need to have all the data …
