Develop a Customer Database / Front End

Develop a secure and intuitive customer database application for a busy driving school. The web application will allow authorized users to efficiently manage pupil information and lessons through an online portal. At login, the user will be directed to the client page which permits recording approximately twenty key data fields for each pupil. Critically, the application needs to support adding lesson entries on the individual client record along with attaching relevant documents to those entries. A searchable client table is also necessary to allow users to easily access customer information as needed.

As no back-end currently exists, the freelancer will be responsible for developing both the complete customer database and front-end interface. Particular attention should be paid to crafting an intuitive and pleasurable user experience. Therefore, demonstrated experience designing productive and aesthetically appealing interfaces is important. The chosen platform and technologies to build the application must support the project requirements and ensure long term maintainability, expandability and security of stored data.

This initial phase focuses on establishing the core functionalities and infrastructure to digitally manage driving school operations. Future planned enhancements to the system suggest this role may develop into an ongoing working relationship. Candidates should propose their approach, including specific programming languages and tools, to meet the outlined needs within budget and timeline.
