Looking to develop a custom E-commerce website

General information for the website: E-commerce platform

Kind of development: New website from scratch

Specific technologies required: Python Django or PHP Codeigniter preferred. Open to suggestions


Description of requirements/features: (ALL DESIGN PROVIDED)

1. Add Artwork (this includes the categorization process to fulfill the search & browse fields listed below)
2. Add/Update Artist profile page (bio, desc, etc)
3. Blog & Interviews
4. Events & News
5. Alliances/Partners (we are planning on linking many different art-entities that are part of the artist's support system, this will be a growing list)

Search Fields:

- Name (first/last are options)
- Newest work on site
- Medium (paint, pencil, etc- they have a comprehensive list)
- Region/ Country of creation

Browse Fields:

-Includes above search fields
-Price slider
-Size (S, M, L)
- Artist list + search
- Colour
- Orientation (Portrait/Landscape)
-Style (comprehensive list; flowers/fashion, etc)
- Trending Artists

Sort:

- Recently added
-Price highest to lowest
- Price lowest to highest

View:

-As a grid (all thumbnails are same size = symmetrical view)
- As a "salon" (each thumbnail shows full artwork so different ratio'd thumbnails)
- Can view 15,30,60 or 120 artworks per page


CMS and Admin requirements:

Standard CMS and E-commerce back-end (admin only, all content is managed by admin. Users won't be adding any content)
