The Brief.
Hi there learned people of the mysterious world of the Internet.
We are a small business supplying to the construction industry with very little web presence.
Our customer base is divided into customers who are older & less web proficient and the younger it/mobile savvy client. It is the latter group that we want to target with e-commerce.
Features that we anticipate would be useful would include
• Fully responsive design, which is tablet and mobile friendly
• Build time - ready before the end of Feb 16.
• Site based upon Wordpress and woocommerce plus appropriate add-ins & expandable in the future.
• Website and content will be owned by ourselves exclusively
• SSL security & hosting.
• Accounts and one-click login feature through appropriate media (FBook, Linkedin Etc)
• Customer account specific pricing if required.
• Online payments (recommended to be done through Stripe ??)
• Pop-up chat box integrated so that we can initiate conversation with site visitors
• Email integration and contact information for the site through eg Mail-chimp giving constant contact
• Youtube channel integration for optimisation
• Theme and logo design to establish identity
• Product pricing and Image placement input initially by designer.
• Training and advice to be given to ensure smooth launch and initial operation

We would be open to guidance as to the preferred website platform, but eventually we would be looking to update and do the simpler maintenance tasks ourselves.
This website would be our initial entry into the market place on a low level, our future plans include rolling out similar sites for other products & services.
We would also like to look at samples of live sites / projects and price indicators please.
