Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi All, I hope you are well.
We have developed the World's first automated key cutting machine capable of cutting residential, automotive and high security residential keys from a single machine, which we call KeyNOW.
We have 650 machines located across various national retail brands in the UK; these machines only cater for the residential market and are called My Key Machine. From Q1 2022 we will commence rollout of KeyNOW into the UK market.
I have recently undertaken some customer insight work from a representative sample of 2,000 respondents in the UK to better understand residential and automotive key cutting purchasing behaviour.
The following are points of interest:
Which groups we should be targeting from a residential key cutting perspective
Which groups we should be targeting from a automotive key cutting perspective and do they overlap
Can we develop an understanding of behavioural differences to identify key groups (segments) to target
Is there any pertinent data and trends to help us sell more keys, based on the data of those who have bought keys in the last 5 years (1415 of 2000)
Among those who would use a key machine and of those who gets the most keys cut?
Which retailers do those people who would use a key machine shop with?
What are the common behaviours and socio-demographics of people who would use a machine?
Age / Sex / Hobbies / Income = personas of key groups
Can we identify 5 or 6 defined segments, e.g. age and gender - retired males, female professionals - or behavioural ones, like ‘Independent free thinkers’ and ‘local shoppers’ from the data?
I hope the above makes sense.
If you are interested, please respond and I will share the data.
Look forward to your response.
Best Regards,
Karl
