Hi Tonya,
Sorry to hear about sudden demise of your previous developer.
As mentioned the deadline is tomorrow, I just wanted to check, if the job is still open or you've found some? If not, I can extend the hand to help you move your website to the new host.
Let me know.
Thanks

Are you in a rush or flexible on deadline?

Hey. Sad reason for moving... I would like to know if you have access to the database and FTP access to the web space of your sites. You will need this for anyone to copy the sites to a new web space.
Tonya B.17 Jul 2016Hi, can the site be backed up using the administrator login for the website?
Victoria S.17 Jul 2016To a certain extend yes. Even completely in some circumstances. It depends what sort of new hosting package you have and its features. You can export your content for sure. But the theme (styling) of your websites you cannot copy. You almost certainly need FTP access for this.
There are multiple possibilities:
a) I could try to install extensions to "download" you theme to upload in a new joomla installation. !Usually with problems leading to not working!
b) You can "profit from the situation" and install a new theme*
c) If you consider b you could switch to another platform like wordpress
* Your sites are not all to huge. With a couple of hours work you could just let it be transformed onto a new installation. Advantage is also that you have latest features and fully responsive (mobile, tablet etc.)
Important question: Do you have your domains sorted? Do they transfer them to you? What happens with those on tuesday?
