Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: Food and nutrition website
Description of requirements/features: See below
Extra notes: Hello,
I'm looking for a freelancer to get my new website up and running. This should be a relatively straightforward job. I'd like to hire someone in the next 3-5 days.
I have the following collateral:
- a domain name
- hosting space (different provider from domain name provider)
- an awesome wordpress theme chosen
- wordpress.com site (free) with content
I'd like you to:
- vet my selected wordpress theme before I purchase it (is it going to be finicky? is there support?)
- set the host to point to the domain name
- install the wordpress theme
- tweak the wordpress theme - make hp a blog, have multiple portfolio pages, (possibly) nested about me page, upload my logo (text only for now), modify fonts if necessry
- transfer the content
- tell me the best way to tag and categorize to get the most out of the theme setup
It is important to me that you are:
- Responsive: I don't expect you to solve everything immediately - presumably you have other clients. But acknowledging my questions in a timely manner is important.
- A fascist about good clean code and design - you agree that "less is more": This may not be very relevant now but would be in the future and I prefer working with the same people over time.
- You are awesome at what you do: I'm busy. Don't waste my time by pretending to be something you're not.
Skills/Experience:
- Excellent English
- Experience/feedback on peopleperhour. If you don't have this, send me a link to your work. If you don't have either, don't apply.
- Experience with Genesis is nice to have (possibly for future projects) but not necessary.
