Description
Description of requirements/features: Greetings!
We are a digital agency called Ursa Minor. About 4 years ago we built a simple E-Commerce site for our client, Bumblebee Batteries, located at https://bumblebeebatteries.com. They sell premium replacement hybrid batteries for hybrid cars. At the time, we built the E-Commerce backend simply using Gravity Forms, because they were only selling a small number of products.
They have a special business model that allows customers to reserve batteries by paying a small deposit when they are out of stock. And, they also have a "buy back" arrangement where they refund an amount (called a "core credit") when a customer who purchases a new replacement battery ships back their old battery to the company.
To accomplish this, Gravity Forms was a simple and straight forward solution.
Now, the company has begun offering a number of accessory products such as chargers and parts. With this change, the current Gravity Forms build does not work so well, because it can't allow customers to add multiple products to their shopping cart in a single order.
Therefore, we want to rebuild the E-Commerce functionality using WooCommerce. So this project is essentially replicating the existing design and features of the current website using WooCommerce instead of Gravity Forms.
The new site has already been started on our test server, located at https://bb.dev.ursaminor.com. However our in-house team is busy so we are looking for a partner to complete the project.
Please refer to the attached specification document which provides more details. In addition, we will of course provide admin access to the current website and the current test site.
We are looking for someone who can handle this quickly and inexpensively, with careful attention to detail. We expect you to be able to analyze the current site and match the (responsive) design and functionality in the new site, and perform comprehensive QA testing for the four most popular browsers.
Please do not post a generic proposal with a list of your services, as I normally do not consider those. Instead simply explain why you're a good for this project, what specific skills, experience, and methods you will use, and how you will ensure success. I'm looking for someone who has obviously read the entire description, including the attached specification, and cares about doing a great job.
Feel free to post any specific questions you have and I will respond as quickly as I can.
Thanks for your kind consideration.

Hi Benjamin,
I am not placing my proposal as I will be able to work after Easter only.
The project is good one as it involves working with a good theme and well tested woocommerce.
Thanks,

We would like to have a discussion in detail.

GopalBenjamin D.04 Apr 2017Hi, Gopal. Thank you for your question. Yes, Divi Theme (made by Elegant Themes) is compatible with WooCommerce. You can learn more about that here:
https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/getting-started-with-divi-and-woocommerce
We would like to stay with Divi because it makes it easy for editing and changes.
Thanks,
BenjaminGopal D.05 Apr 2017hello Benjamin,
Thanks for your response...
Now another thing is about product variation ..
to make thing easy i got one thought..
lets say one product is out of stock...
So when customer select that product which will display as out of stock along with one button called "Pre-Order"
so when customer clicks on pre-order button .. we will take them to one form to be filled.. and after filling form system will take them to payment gateway to deposite of certain amount (which can be decided by you)..
as soon as they pay deposit, one promo code to be sent via email to customer...
and when product gets in stock customer gets alert in mail explaining that now product is available for order..
when customer order that product in website they have to put promo code and that promo code will deduct the deposite amount from actual price and rest of the payment customer can do from website...
i think this way will be easy and smooth..
let me know your thought and then we can move ahead with next step..
Looking forward to hear from you.
thanks
