Description
Experience Level: Expert
1) Simple Inventory Management and Invoice application.
2) Inventory database attributes include: Item, Unit Code, Description, Unit of Measure, Cost per Unit of Measure, Extended Cost
3) Customer database attributes include: Customer ID, Customer Name, Company Name, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Address Line 3, Home Phone, Cell Phone, Alternate Phone, Contact Person, Email address.
4) Data for inventory and customer will have a grid view available that is fully editable.
5) When the invoice is saved, the items on the invoice are removed from inventory by quantity.
6) If the invoice is saved for later (in process) it does not remove items from stock.
7) Invoice may be printed as needed.
8) An inventory report will need to be generated with a snapshot of current inventory items, so a count can be made. Attributes for this report include: Item, Unit Code, Quantity on Hand (QOH), Description, Unit of Measure (such as Ea, Gal, Oz, In, etc), Cost per Unit of Measure, Extended Cost, Date Last Purchased, Last Vendor Used, Notes.
The program must work across the network with multiple users. Does not need to be password protected. There may eventually be up to 7 client sites using the program.
I have a more detailed requirements document available. I envision having a rough draft of the application to show the client, then revise the requirements document, revise the program, and so on for about 3 cycles.
