Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Simple Android application required to be ported to iOS for use on iPhones and iPads.
App itself is Scrabble Helper and can be viewed in Google Play.
It consists of only 2-3 screens and 3-4 dialogs. Screen components are simply Buttons, TextEdits, and ListLayouts. Nothing complex. (See attached examples - there will be slight UI mods to fit in with iOS)
Primary functionality of App is to use an existing JSON web service to retrieve word list based on the values entered and display results to the user.
Results are then able to be sorted & highlighted in various ways.
There are 3 simple API calls to be used, plus integration to wiktionary API for word definitions.
A free and a paid version of the app will need to be created prefeably from a shared code library, the free version will have some functionality limitations and include AdMob ads.
Full screenshots and api specs will be provided to the accepted bid. Ability to run the Android app will be of benefit - Android source however will not be provided.
You will be dealing directly with the Android developer and all questions regarding existing app functionality are easily answered.
On completion of the project, the developer will not retain any rights to the source code or app. The completed application(s) including source will need to be handed over.
Support for the live application will be required for debugging/problems found after launch and will continued to be paid hourly.
Bids should include estimated time frame for completion, with the understanding that time is based on the information as provided thus far.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
