Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Large technology company needs to increase brand awareness and recognition and increase followers across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The latter two being the most important. Ultimate goal is obviously to generate demand/sales leads although this will not be the KPI. The KPI will lively be take from Google Analytics (that the customer will use) and gains in followers. This is a 12-month program with upfront work this year.
This will be an on-going work with certainly one but maybe other clients. This person must be UK based with excellent written and spoken English skills, while a UK sense of irony would also be bonus.
The major client work starts with working with the managing director (me) of a small Marketing & PR company that has global contracts with tech companies. For this customer we will be predominantly focusing on EMEA, but also coordinating social efforts with US teams. Work will start with the strategy through brain storming and ideas with regards to campaigns and day-to-day social execution. This work needs to start imminently as the pitch needs to be submitted before the middle of next month.
I'm not looking for Trump style platforms (this is what has been demonstrated to me over the last few weeks), but someone who has experience of working in the B2B technology sectors. That knows how to:
1. Set up and manage paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Twitter
2. Strategically use Facebook bearing in mind this is B2B (again I don't need Trump style analytical platforms) just the odd boost of a post and ideas around decent campaigns that work for B2B on FB.
3. Set up Google AdWord/Google Ads and manage the account and ideas to support my graphic design team
4. Understands how to engage on LinkedIn and Twitter to gain more competitors followers (some social people refer to this as cloning and others take over and others have told me this doesn't happen any more).
5. Has the ability to be both reactive and proactive particularly due to working with customers in various time zones rather than working to a strict 9-5 UK day
I've never used People Per Hour before and this not an hourly rate job. The help with the pitch might be, but the execution will mean you will be on a monthly retainer of x days per month TBC. Most of my retained freelancers have been retained now for years and work across a number of my customers.
