Telemarketing follow-up and research/qualification of warm prospects

We have dozens of prospects who regularly download written reports on various marketing topics that we publish (some also receive hard copies of the reports). These are mostly owners and managers in SMEs.

We have developed a successful script over several years that gets prospects to talk about their business, and explain why they have requested the report. We tell them that we'd like to 'pidgeon-hole' them to make sure we send them information and resources / newsletters etc. that will be relevant and valuable to them, depending on what typoe of marketing they undertake.

Depending on their response we either close the call and promise to keep in touch with them, or, if they are very open to advice and help, and we have identifited them to be significant size or have reasonable budget, we will offer different options to them.

For example, they can have a free 20 minute telephone consultation, or free review of their web site/sales letter/email campaign etc. or they are give ndetals of how our marketing coaching/mentoring cluib will help them solve their marketing challenges.

Key point is that we don't ever try and hard-sell these services.

We need someone to consistently follow-up these warm prospects and report back via excell spreadsheet on a daily basis.

N.B. it is very important that you are happy to follow our guide script pretty closely, and don't use your own approach.

Small pilot project to start with - open to suggestions on best way to pay for this i.e. hourly rate, or job for the project.
