Experience Level: Intermediate
We are a small web design company based near Milton Keynes and deal with only a small number of loyal and important customers. We specialise in offering a high degree of personal services to these customers. We work with some great designers to produce stunning web sites which makes selling our product on easy proposition.
The company is just embarking on a phase of unprecedented growth, and consequently this is a really exciting time to get on board.
The role will require you to:
- Have an interest in web design and some knowledge of the industry.
- Learn about and understand our business, services and ethics.
- Liaise with the MD, designers and developers in preparing a web site proposal.
- Meet prospective clients and present the web site proposal.
- Convert prospect in to signed-up client.
You may also be required to maintain contact with client to ensure they are kept informed during the project.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a background in sales, account management or business development in web design or a similar environment.
- Possess the ability to present and communicate at all levels.
- Have fantastic people skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Be self-motivated and keen to share in the rewards for delivering results.
- Be reliable, hardworking, honest and professional.
Initially, we envisage this role beginning on a freelance basis with a per hour rate, expenses and commission, but with huge potential for the right person. We will most likely be looking to create a full time Account Management/Business Development/Project Manager role in the future.
Currently, all work, meetings and prospective client presentations will be on an ad-hoc basis at mutually agreed times.
PLEASE NOTE:
Special consideration will be given to any candidate who could be available to present a web site proposal to a prospective client in Milton Keynes on Wednesday 4th August. You will, of course, be fully briefed prior to this.
