Experience Level: Expert
We’re hunting for a freelance copywriter to help us deliver our content strategy in 2019. The copywriter will deliver blog and white paper content, derived from video content produced by the business.
Deliverables:
Content for at least 3 blog posts (at least 1500 words each) per month, based on provided video content
Conversion of blog posts into whitepaper, 1 per month
This is a recurring cycle - so while there will be a trial period, work will continue on a monthly cycle indefinitely, with some months requiring more work as more campaigns are released

A writing tone in line with brand values
Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape
High standards for your work, and the autonomy to deliver to deadlines

We’re a multi-award winning digital marketing agency , working with global retail brands on their PPC, Google Shopping, Amazon, and Paid Social activity. Where will the copy appear?
Copy will appear online, primarily on our blog. The content will also be able to be downloaded from our website. Content may be further developed for other materials on an ad-hoc basis.
Who are we talking to?
Our audience is senior marketers, specifically Heads of eCommerce, in medium/large retail companies. We have full personas built out for these people so you will know exactly how these people would like to be spoken to, as well as their challenges.
What do the Heads of eCommerce need to know?
The mission with our content is to be as helpful as possible to Heads of eCommerce. We achieve this through providing expert knowledge on a strategic level about digital marketing for retail brands.
The by-product is the Head of eCommerce will identify Genie Goals as expert in our field, and worthy of consideration in times where our services will be appropriate to them. We will reinforce this through the creation of an email list, which will act as a key distribution channel for our content (and will be managed internally).
What do we sound like?
Our tone is expert, caring, direct, and consultative. Our clients appreciate we go beyond what many digital marketing agencies do and help with strategic direction, with a birds-eye view of strategy, not becoming siloed into specific parts of marketing - all the while being nothing but honest and helpful.
