We are looking to bring on board one or two phone sales experts who can secure appointments for prospective clients for our digital marketing company.
Our process works like this:
1) Cold call company to acquire name and email address
2) Our team shoots a research video and emails video to the company
3) Follow up with the company to either a) book a deep-dive appointment or b) make them aware the video has been sent and convince them to watch the video
4) Conduct a deep-dive appointment
4) Build proposal
5) Present proposal and close deal
We need someone (possibly two people) who can focus on the 1st (obtain email addresses) and 3rd steps (book deep-dive appointments).
Step 1 is very straightforward and is simply a case of calling companies, obtaining names and email addresses, and inputting them into the spreadsheet. We require between 5-10 email addresses per day which should take 30mins to one hour.
Step 3 requires a bit more skill and organisation. We have a backlog of companies that need to be contacted and have a five-step follow-up process. By the end of those five steps, either they'll be booked for a deep dive appointment, or put in the "No" or "Maybe Later" pile. The key then is to be organised and stick to the follow-up schedule.
Getting prospects into a deep dive appointment is the most important part of this process: it means they've watched the video and are interested in acquiring our services. Therefore, not only do we need skilled phone sales agents but there is a financial bonus for every 5 and 10 deep dives that are booked.
Both Step 1 and Step 3 come with scripts and plenty of support and structure. It's therefore just a matter of organisation and execution.
