I need Google Analytics and Search Console to be wired up

I need Google Analytics and Search Console to be wired up to a client's WordPress site.

The Google Site Kit has already been loaded onto WordPress. However, when i try to complete the Analytics set-up in Site Kit, it comes back with the following message:

"Error: We've detected there's already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-8525907-56), but your account doesn't seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team."

Subject to permission from my client, we could remove all current Analytics and start again from scratch if need be.

I'd like as comprehensive a job as possible doing hooking my client up to Analytics if possible. Thank you.
