Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for a smart and reliable community growth assistant to help us build awareness for upcoming mobile app projects through Reddit and Facebook communities.
This is NOT a spam posting job.
We are looking for someone who understands how Reddit and Facebook groups actually work and can participate naturally, follow community rules and identify genuine opportunities for discussion, feedback and promotion.
The work may cover multiple mobile app projects over time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Finding relevant Reddit communities and Facebook groups
Checking community rules before posting or commenting
Identifying active discussions related to our target users
Participating in conversations naturally and helpfully
Building credible profiles rather than immediately promoting
Identifying common problems, questions and content ideas from communities
Finding opportunities where our apps could genuinely be relevant
Contacting moderators/admins when permission is required
Preparing or posting promotional content only where appropriate and permitted
Tracking posts, comments, responses and useful insights
Providing a simple weekly report
We do NOT want:
Mass posting
Copy-paste comments
Fake engagement
Bot activity
Purchased Reddit/Facebook accounts
Spam
Promotion that violates subreddit or group rules
The goal is long-term organic community growth and useful market intelligence, not simply dropping links.
Paid Test
We will start with a small paid test.
For the test, we may ask you to:
Find 10–15 highly relevant Reddit communities / Facebook groups
Explain why each is relevant
Summarise the important rules
Identify suitable discussions or content opportunities
Suggest how you would approach each community without appearing promotional
If the quality is strong, this can become ongoing weekly work.
When applying, please answer:
What experience do you have growing brands, apps or products through Reddit or Facebook communities?
Please send 2–3 relevant examples of previous community growth work.
How do you decide whether a Reddit community or Facebook group is worth targeting?
How do you promote a product without getting banned or appearing spammy?
Do you already have established Reddit or Facebook profiles that you use professionally, or would you work with accounts supplied by us?
How would you approach the first 7 days of this project?
What tools do you use for Reddit/Facebook research and tracking?
What is your fixed price for the initial paid test?
What would you charge for ongoing weekly work?
Approximately how many hours per week would you recommend?
Will you personally complete the work, or will any part be outsourced?
Please do not send a generic social media marketing proposal.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands community culture, knows how to avoid spam and can help us learn what real users are discussing.
If the paid test goes well, we are interested in a long-term collaboration across multiple mobile app projects.
