Hi there,
I am looking for a number of page designs for an eLearning platform I am building. I have been let down by a PPH freelancer which has caused me significant pain. Please provide a proposal only if you can start straight away and complete in a few days. Description of the platform is below:
Project: eLearning Platform - called Cybersity
Purpose: Providing subscription based access to information security training courses B2B
Functionality overview: Companies can buy a subscription to one or more information security courses. Courses are made of one or more modules. Modules contain one or more content types. Content types supported for version 1 include Video (hosted on Vimeo, but will be presented in page to viewer) and a multiple choice quiz. The flow for a typical user is:
"Login Page" - Login -> Dashboard
"Dashboard" - Can access their profile, their courses, their results. Dashboard will show a summary of progress for their last course/module and scores.
"My Profile" - Simple form to view current details and modify
"My Courses" - Gallery view of subscribed courses
"Modules" - (within a given course) - Gallery view of available modules. Each one highlighting a completion status, any scores (from quiz), and duration.
"Take Module" - (within a given module) - Video from Vimeo ready to play when requested by user. Button to "Take Quiz" underneath. A "window" within the browser that can be scrolled that contains the script of the video.
"Take Quiz" - (within a given module) - A multi step flow showing a single question at a time and flowing to the next question on clicking a "Next" or similar button. Each question being a Multiple Choice type question.
"My Results" - This is a reporting feature, where they can access and drill down in to their progress in a list format.
The flow for a "Master Subscriber" (essentially this is the customer admin user):
"Login Page" - Login -> Dashboard
"Dashboard" - Can access their profile, their courses, their results and have the ability to "Manage" their subscribed courses. Dashboard will show a summary of progress for their last course/module and scores.
"My Profile" - Simple form to view current details and modify
"My Courses" - Gallery view of subscribed courses (different to manage courses as they can also take the course as a normal user)
"Modules" - (within a given course) - Gallery view of available modules. Each one highlighting a completion status, any scores (from quiz), and duration.
"My Results" - This is a reporting feature, where they can access and drill down in to not only their progress in a list format but all users within their company. It will start at a company level showing summary/averages and will allow drilling down in to individual user/course results.
I do like the idea of a simplistic look and feel. www.codecademy.com is an eLearning platform that is fairly simple and highly intuitive I would be okay with as a rough guide.
I've attached the User Journeys for the different types of users so you can get a feel for the flow and the type of data collected/presented to the user.
If you need any more information, do let me know. I am particularly interested in the timing of your delivery. I have a development team working on the back end of this portal and are awaiting the design so they can create a "theme".
Look forward to hearing from you.
