Refinement/reformatting of logo

I have designed a logo for my dance school which I am happy with but it is a very basic format (as I'm no expert!) and thus I am unable to upload it to the internet as it's not in the right format. I want someone to reformat it so it can be copied and pasted or uploaded with no loss of quality. It comprises of text with a picture (from clip art) substituted for one of the letters. When I email the logo to anyone, the font always changes to something completely different even though I have saved it as a picture (but obvioulsy not correctly). I'm sure this would be a quick and easy job for someone with the right knowledge, unlike me! I can email this in a word document to the successful bidder.
