I am looking for an image for The Pension Man. It is to be a cartoon and based on the traditional English gentleman with stripe trousers, black jacket, white collar and tie - with a bowler hat and umbrella. He should be 'rounded' and cute - a lot like the Homepride character from British advertising in the 19702. See attachments.

This is to be used in graphic design to support pull up banners, promotional cards etc, so we are likely to need a variety of poses in time - such as pointing, waving, or holding a banner card with text. But for now, we are looking for the 'character' - once we have that right we can work on the other elements.

The cartoon represents a real person - he is a pensions adviser and he works in companies, advising their staff who are soon to be retiring. He is known universally as The Pension Man, and so we are trying to give him a cartoon personality. The 'Homepride Man persona perfect. Pensions can be a dull subject and the idea is to make it all seem much more fun and human.

In pitching, please can you include any samples of your work which you think will give us a suggestion of your style, in the context of your brief. Please price for one 'lead character' and 4 poses (yet to be defined).
