CAD-Residential & Light Commercial Construction-New York

Requirements:

Strong experience with AutoCAD for construction plans
Familiar with New York State building codes or general U.S. residential building codes
Knowledge of Zone 5 energy code / insulation requirements preferred
Able to design and detail:
Floor joist layouts
Carrier beams / load paths
Basic framing plans
Foundation layouts
Roof framing concepts
Basic structural understanding for standard wood-frame construction
Ability to revise plans quickly and communicate clearly
