Police have taken my ebike which i need for work purposes(food delivery rider) any advice would be appreciated and a complaint letter to the station.

They say its a motor vehicle because it has a throttle (which can be removed) even though the motor is 250W and its speed restricted to 15.5 mph.

I have public liability insurance,

I'd like to get my bike back out of custody. Surely preventing me from working by stealing my bike can't be right at all?
