Manual Data Entry from PDFs to Excel (No OCR) - Project 1 (of 2)

We are looking for a detail-oriented person to manually extract specific data from PDF documents into an Excel template. OCR is not permitted — this must be done manually. A previous attempt using OCR produced poor results, so accuracy is critical.

The source documents are mineral exploration records. While no industry experience is required, you should be comfortable working with technical tables and consistently formatted data.

Project details:
• Approx. 275 drillholes, each with at least 13 standard entries
• Some holes include up to 4 acid tests, each requiring two additional entries
• Estimated total: 4,000 to 6,000 entries
• All entries are simple text or numeric fields
• One field (“Abandoned”) requires a visual check to determine if the word “abandoned” appears in the original text, and a YES or NO must be entered.

We will provide:
• A sample of the original PDF documents
• An Excel template with the required fields

Timeline & Compensation:
• Must be completed within 36 hours
• Can be structured as hourly or fixed-price
• Up to a 50% bonus will be paid if completed within 24 hours with no significant errors (as determined at our sole discretion, which shall not be unreasonably delayed or withheld)
