Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I have 2 PDF documents, each containing around 80 pages of data presented in a table. I need to transfer the tables into Excel. Because the tables are of different widths and column sizes it is not possible to extract from a PDF to Excel, as such this is a manual data entry task. There are around 80 pages on each document, I estimate around 400 lines of data, in 15 columns on one file, and 20 columns in the other.
I have attached a sample of a couple of pages from each file, and the destination Excel document that the data must be entered into. As you will see, the columns contain a mix of text an numeric data.
The columns for Description, New Code and Old Code must be transferred exactly. The other columns contain a number which is what we need. Any text in the other columns such as "N/A" can be ignored and a black space left in the sheet. It will make more sense if you look at the samples!
