Description
Experience Level: Entry
I run an ecommerce store and have recently received emails from 2 seperate from Chinese legal companies stating that someone in China is trying to register part of my logo as a trademark for a similar company in China.
Both companies that contacted me provided me with a Chinese Trade Mark Office reference number (31697982)
When I search the CTMO website for this number it does seem that someone is in fact trying to register a trademark using my logo.
I am looking for someone who can assist me by ensuring that their trademark application does not get granted to them. If you have had any relevant experience with this sort of thing that would be great. Please tell me how this would be approached and what the likely outcome is.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Has your trademark "SKULLVIKINGS" been registered in China before? And is your trademark a famous trademark?Steve S.08 Jan 2019Nope, it has not been registered in China, nor is it "Famous". We have a social following of <20,000 people. However, it's not just the name they are using, but the same logo and to sell the same category of product
Rui W.09 Jan 2019OK, I have checked the Approval No.:31697982, it seems you need to raise an opposition before 2019-3-20, provide some evidence to show the trademark belongs to you, and the cost for the opposition is about 500 RMB.
