Description
Experience Level: Expert
Thanks for looking at my job proposal, please only bid if you can fulfill all criteria.
I am a sole trader who runs a small training and consultancy business with big aspirations, operating in the Hospitality and Events sectors. However, I need to get word to the masses about my great product and start selling! I have a static HTML website which has recently been designed but I have decided to go down the CMS route as it will be cheaper for me in the long run. So here\'s the brief:
Stage 1
1.Take the existing branding and website and build in a CMS format (most likely Wordpress/Drupal/Joomla etc.) consisting of index page plus 6-8 nested pages so I can then build the rest myself
2. Improve & finish the two existing HTML microsites of 2 pages each and link through to main site
3. Optimise all sites at page and external links level
4. Provide an e-commerce facility so customers can pay by paypal.
Stage 2
1. Construct two further microsites of 2 pages each, based on existing design template and link through to main site
2. Optimise all sites at page and external links level
3. Set up pages so news, feeds and blogs can be integrated
4. Create a bang up Facebook page that showcases my courses and that I can use for special offers and feeding info to viewers
5. Create a simple but attractive pdf suitable for emailshot
6. Provide me with some online/phone support to enable me to have backup whilst building the rest of the site using the CMS
7. Host all sites and domains for a reasonable annual fee
8. Advise me on Google ad-word campaign strategy and possibly set one up
SEO is going to be the main key here as my sector has many competitors. You must also be able to work with other people I may need to bring in for other functions, e.g. Copywriting, Marketing etc.
The initial project of the main website needs to be completed within 2-3 weeks so please DO NOT bid if you cannot complete within that time. The rest will need to be completed in the following 2-3 weeks subject to the first stage being completed successfully.
Also, and this is vital, you must be able to drive this project and not need direction on every little detail so a degree of foresight, creativity and initiative will be required. I work long hours and would prefer to give direction over the phone and have you run with it, rather than needing detailed written briefs.
As you can see, I plan on developing my web presence and accelerating my internet marketing significantly but please appreciate that I am on a very tight budget (as most people nowadays) so cannot pay some of the silly fees quoted by some people I have spoken to. I am definitely looking for someone who feels like they are collaborating in the success of my business, instead of just delivering a service. In return, I\'ll stick with you\'ll have a steady drip feed of work until I\'m a millionaire, and then I\'ll buy you a yacht in recognition of your support!
I have not put a specific budget in as I find bidders just tend to go in at the top end of that. Just put a realistic bid in as to what you think you want to charge for a good job and, even if it\'s a bit high, I\'ll contact you if your pitch sounds right. That said, I appreciate that CMS is more costly than HTML and I\'d rather have it right first time.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you.
