Cornwall, GBWe waited such a long time to post this feedback as we would not want to post negative feedback lightly.
During our discussions prior to selecting a provider for our project, this developer promised us delivery within 2 months.
They asked for "advance money" after providing a site "Design" to show their qualities. They also reassured us if we were not satisfied with their work, "they would return the advance money. (this refund promise was a big factor in selecting them for the job). They convinced us this promise demonstrated that we could trust them to complete a great project.
So we agreed to select them & paid them the "advance money" as agreed.
To cut a long story short....The developer missed the agreed schedule by a significant time factor. (even now 5 + months later they have not completed it).
In fact after many weeks & months of the developer giving us constant excuses - i.e. " an employee left work", "a holiday", "working on it", "will update in a few days" "another holiday", etc. etc. The developer then officially admitted 4 weeks ago (via a PPH message) they had stopped work.
We have given the developer every chance (almost 6 months) to complete the site/project & have now waited for the last four weeks for them to refund our money as they promised.
They have not made the refund.
Therefore they have taken money from us & provided us with nothing at all, we have absolutely Zero from them, they have delivered us Zero.

City of London, GBFreelancer caused several errors on my site when he installed the facility I paid for. Some of these errors did not come to light straight away as were buried deeper in the site and were flagged in time by potential customers that I then lost. Other errors were uncovered by my webmaster when he was carrying out routine testing on my site. Freelancer was unwilling to amend these errors without further payment. I would not work with him again as I lost customers through the mistakes he made.
