Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: User input to categorise tweets into database
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of requirements/features: My aim is to create a web interface to allow the categorisation of tweets based around a keyword or hashtag from JSON data into a database. A fairly simple objective, the front end web interface is to provide the user with five buttons on and easy to use, responsive interface, with the buttons reading 'very positive', 'positive', 'neutral', 'negative' and 'very negative' respectively. After three separate users have marked the tweet as one of the above sentiments (positive, neural, negative etc) the tweet and its information can be added to the database.
The overall aim is to create a database holding the tweets and important information from the tweet (tweet ID, username, location, geo location, language, date created) and its sentiment (very positive, positive, neural, negative, very negative).
I would prefer one of the following programming languages be used; Java, Python, JavaScript or PHP.
I am open to any database you feel appropriate. The requirements for the database are: It is able to contain hundreds of thousands of tweets. There will not be many concurrent users.
I encourage the use of any open source frameworks, boilerplates or whatnot for any aspect of this project. Bootstrap, Foundation, UI libraries, JS libraries, etc etc.
My project is derived from the book 'Mining the social web', a copy of which can be found at the link below. I am following the twitter chapter.

Once complete would run the website on a virtual server to gather the responses from users. So I don't require management, hosting or similar. This is a personal project so the budget is not huge, so please be realistic with your proposal. I am seeking this out of convenience as I don't have the time to create it myself.
Summary:
My aim is to create a web interface which helps a user categorise tweets into five categories based on sentiment; very positive, positive, neural, negative, very negative. Tweets are only labelled as any of those sentiments once at least three separate users agree on the sentiment. I am using the book Mining the Social Web to gather the twitter data which is in a JSON format.
If you have any questions, or require clarification please ask.
