Our company is based in Hampshire, that offers document management services, predominantly scanning of hard copy documents to electronic format. We also provide web-based electronic archiving systems for quick retrieval of information and offer a basic document management product with the lowest cost of ownership in the market.

We have suffered quite badly in the recession as our products and services, we have to face it, are often a nice-to-have rather than an essential. Some of our biggest customers have gone back to storing hard copy to save short-term costs. However, there comes the time when an important piece of paper goes missing and the chairman screams, \"Why hasn't someone done something about this before?\" We want to make sure we are in the forefront of the decision-maker's mind when this happens.

Over the years we accumulated a large number of leads that, following a weeding exercise a couple of years ago has been whittled down to under 1000. These comprise public and private organisations of widely varying sizes and with widely varying requirements. For many years we had a lady who kept in contact with these people, working just two to three hours a week for us, flagging up when actual business might be imminent. She had a wonderful rapport with our prospects who were always pleased to hear from her and were deeply saddened when she died earlier this year.

She will be a hard act to follow but we must find someone soon before all our leads go cold. We are a small company and have a limited budget and would be delighted to receive proposals from individuals with suitable experience to fill the gap.
