Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: We are a mental health charity delivering support sessions to clients
Database management system (DBMS): Microsoft Access
Description of requirements/functionality: We are a small charity in the UK and we currently have a database for recording all of our client information and counselling session details/outcomes (we are a mental health charity so deliver one-to-one sessions with clients and then record the outcomes, etc within the database along with their other details) - our current database is written using Microsoft Access, which for a few years has worked well.
However we have now just moved to Office 365 cloud-based network storage etc and have a number of users accessing the MS Access database file simultaneously sometimes, etc and I'm now noticing that having this type of database is no longer fit for purpose.
I'm now therefore on the lookout for someone who can help us develop a web application or other form of database format that will allow flexibility to adapt it/add things as our organisation and it's projects changes or evolves but at the same time will allow smooth, clean operation.
The current database is only small and essentially just has 4 main tabbed pages, namely:
- Client Referral (where we capture details such as name, address, contact info, referral information for clients)
- Assessment (where we capture information about the mental health needs of a client and what they require help with)
- Sessions Data (where we enter the outcome scores from sessions with clients and record whether they have attended, dates of sessions, etc)
- Case Closure (where we record the final bits of information for the case, i.e. closing information, when the client has finished with our service).
Those are essentially the four elements of the database - with a second area of the database that I access that allows me to pull off statistics (an export into Excel is fine) from each of the tables to then produce management reports on how many clients we've seen, sessions delivered, etc.
If you could please let me know if this is something you would be able to help with, and baring in mind that we are a small charity I'm afraid our budget is very limited, if you could please confirm a rough price for the project to be completed (i.e. would it be the 320 you've listed for this hourlie).
Extra notes:

is it possible to see a copy of the database you have so I can have a better understanding of how you want it to work ?
