General information for the website: We sell jewlery
Description of requirements/features: My website is https://ruby-emilia.myshopify.com/
The home page contains a menu i.e Bracelets, Necklaces, Rings, Earrings. Home page also contains 4 images pointing to bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings collection pages respectively. There is also a featured products section at the bottom which consists of 4 images that redirect to 4 different product pages.
I would like to have a comprehensive data from google analytics that includes event tracking in the funnel so that I know where visitors are dropping off in the customer journey. The following data is important:
1. How many people click on menu (both text and image) to go through to bracelet collection page, necklace collection page, rings collection page and earrings collection page
2. When they land on collection page, which product is clicked on and how many people click on which product
3. When user lands on product page, how many items they add to cart, or if they remove, also how many click on add to cart
p.s Add to cart button on product page leads to cart page but there is also a shopping trolley icon on the top right which leads to the cart page. However, a visitor can click on the trolley icon via a regular funnel i.e collection page, product page, shopping trolley icon click and consequently land on the cart page. This would be no good because although the funnel has been completed so to speak, the only way to find out that a visitor has added an item to the cart and thereby landed on cart page is by a click event. That click event is the add to cart button on the product page.
4. I would like to know once people land on cart page (via clicking on add to cart button as mentioned above) how many click on checkout button or paypal button to complete their purchase.
