Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated duration: 2
Description: I need to have a few ideas of how best to market / advertise / promote a new product for a low budget. Ideally this would be done using innovative PR and or Advertorials etc as it is such a low budget. Any ideas welcome.
I would like 2-3 ideas of possible.
The brief is as follows:
Simply Feet is the largest distributor of specialist foot-care products in the UK. The brand is to be re-launching its website in September - www.simplyfeet.co.uk
The website will include some new features: including an MOT Foot Check – designed to allow browsers to check their foot health online. Browsers will hold their cursor over the design of a foot, where conditions will be outlines and remedies suggested. This is the sites USP, so focus more on the health aspects and the foot-care products rather then the show sales part of the brand.
The goal, of course, is to drive sales, encouraging consumers to diagnose their foot condition and then purchase the corresponding products through Simply Feet.
Please give us at least two ideas for launching the new site to consumer press and one to the speciality trade (podiatry, diabetic, chiropodists, etc.).
Your budget for each idea is £3k.
Extra notes: In summary:
Required: 3 Campaign / PR Ideas including: suggestions of press titles?
Start date: Immediate / ASAP
Completion Deadline: EOP Today (WEDNESDAY) or Thursday (15th August) morning at latest for completion.
----
I am a freelance business consultant who has been asked to outsource some marketing ideas for us to brainstorm at a meeting on Friday. There may well be further consultancy work in the future if the ideas go down well. If ideas are taken up, further financial compensation will be offered.
