Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking to create some software for the worktop industry to include the following:
STAGE 1 – QUOTING PACKAGE
This will be the initial stage of the project, this will need to be able to create quotes easily, the plans to quote will look something like the attached, it will need to start by creating the initial sizes of the worktops and then need to add options like sink cutouts, hob cutouts, different edge details etc. It will then need to create a price based on what is included from a pre poplated price list.
STAGE 2 - ERP/JOB TRACKER
Once a quote is accepted there needs to be an option for the quote to be converted into a job which can then have additional job details added. This then needs to be scheduled into a calendar for fabrication and installation in the field. This will need to populate fitters paperwork etc. Must be able to create many different reports from the info within.
STAGE 3 - INVENTORY TRACKING
This needs to like with stage 2
STAGE 4 - INVOICING
STAGE 5 - APP
Once all of the above is done i would look to create an app so all of the paperwork created for stage 2 can become mobile for the installation teams on the road, it needs to link with the software so pictures that are taken and signatures that are received can automatically be seen in the job live.
The key thing is to make all items link together and make things simple and easy although i know there will be a lot of complex information and data behind the scenes.
