Description
Experience Level: Entry
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a wide range of experience with London's foremost networking organisation. We have a small but busy office in Canary Wharf from which we organise regular networking events for our members and send out regular news and updates. We are currently redesigning our website and the successful applicant will be closely involved in the launch and running of it.
3-month position - immediate start
We are looking for an enthusiastic 'people person' who enjoys communicating with others and has a helpful attitude.
Your job will be very varied and will include:
- Sending out invitations for our monthly events and controlling the guest list
- Attending events
- Responding to enquiries by phone or by email; a good telephone manner is essential
- Updating the current website using Dreamweaver
- Creating online invitations
- Updating the membership database with new member information before and after events
You must be able to:
- communicate in both written and oral English at a high level
- pay attention to detail, particularly when updating the database
- prioritise your different tasks
- be able to work occasional evenings
You will be working closely with our Sales Manager who will ask you to liaise with new clients once a sale has been made and with the Membership Secretary. Proficiency in Word and Excel is important. Dreamweaver and Access highly desirable but training will be given. You will also be closely involved in the launch of our new website in November.
