We are a medium size publishing and events company in the business, health and education sectors. We produce various monthly, bi-monthly print magazines, along with associated digital platforms and annual reader events in our various sectors. We produce and design our own content, sell our own advertising space and sponsorships and manage our own print and mailing.
We are in the process of re-shuffling our team and as part of the new structure we are looking to out source our sales resource on some of our titles, so freelance media sales professionals.
We are looking to grow our sales presence by working with a small team of freelance sales individuals who can provide ongoing sales resource, initially in the area of business development, but quickly developing into recurring business, and therefore account management.
You will be selling across a range of mediums offering clients an integrated cross platform marketing solution, so it's important that you are keen to learn and interested in marketing and advertising solutions – we do more than sell a space on a page!
It’s a busy, target-focused, client driven environment, business development is key to the role along with a consultative approach to selling, strong negotiation skills, impressive sales presentation and closing techniques.
Key Skills
• Demonstrable telesales experience and high achievement record in sales
• Great listening and questioning ability to overcome client objectives
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to over deliver high standards of service to clients
• Highly tenacious, can do attitude, strong work ethic
• Relationship builder and strong communication skills
We would initially be looking for 20-30 hours a week, over at least 4 days.
