Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Magento integration
Description of requirements/features: Our requirement is to integrate with a system called Corrin Weblink. This is a weblink application that works with the Pegasus ERP.
The Corrin weblink system does the interaction with Pegasus. Whilst this is web based, it is not a service as such. It works in 2 directions:
1. Corrin will get data about stock, costs, availability - and create files similar to CSV format.
2. Corrin will accept files about orders - these are to be generated Magento end in a similar format to a CSV.
These files are added to and read from a central FTP location.
For an order example:
- customer orders a product, pays, and completes the order
- Magento would process the order
- Magento would need to create 3 files with order details that can be read by Corrin
- Magento would push these files into an FTP folder
- Corrin runs at set intervals
- Corrin will find the new order files
- Corrin will process the order files
and for a stock example:
- products, cost price and stock are added to Pegasus
- Corrin creates a file with details of these
- Corrin adds this to FTP
- Magento needs to import this file
- Magento processes the file
- Magento creates a price for the products based on the Cost Matrix table for each product type
Extra notes: Our requirement is to integrate with a system called Corrin Weblink. This is a weblink application that works with the Pegasus ERP.
