Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm trying to set up a Microsoft Access database that will automatically generate monthly mortgage invoices.
A few things that I'm looking to do:
1) An amortization schedule should be generated based on the manually inputted loan start date, loan amount, length of loan, payments per year, and loan amount.
2) The interest, principle, and balance from an amortization schedule should be automatically generated into each monthly statement.
3) Based on the payment received date which will be manually inputted, the spreadsheet will be able to automatically apply a late fee
4) If the amount paid is greater than the monthly charge, the additional amount will be applied to principle.
5) The monthly statement will be automatically generated by inputting a month and year.
6) The year-to-date paid for interest and principle will automatically be calculated from prior worksheets (monthly statements)
7) The year-to-date paid for interest and principle will automatically reset on January of each year.
I created a template in excel for how the invoice should look, but I need someone with the expertise to create the formulas for what I need. There are also pictures of how some of the setup would look like in Access.
