I am a web designer with a slight edge over others.
I look for offline local niches who rank low in google maps and have out dated and poor sites. I then build a site adding their contact details, info and images and then send the client an email stating all the benefits my site has over there's.
Here is an example.

I'm sure you can see that the email and website does all the selling but this is when I need you guys to come in. I would like to increase the effectiveness of my campaign by giving the clients a follow up phone call.
The call should be a no pressure follow up, simply asking if they got
the email and looking for feedback on the demo site. In a lot of cases,
the person answering will not have seen the email, and you can ask for a
better email address to send it to which you can then send me or copy and paste the email above and send it to them.
Tell them to look out for the email, and ask for a good time to call back to review the demo site. Once they have done this I need you to make a follow up call, but keep me in the loop.
Doing this will ensure the next email sent will get their full attention, and by scheduling a call they will be more receptive to the offer.
Remember the main purpose of these calls is to make sure they get and read the email… Let the demo and email sales copy do the selling for you.
The first 30 seconds of cold calling is 90% of the work. Most people tend to ramble on and on, wasting many hours and getting few results. If they seem intrigued by the way you describe what you have to offer, follow up with them and start working on a close. But do not waste the time or energy "selling" anyone.
The goal is to get a red or a green light… a definite “wow tell me more” or “not interested, thanks”. Most cold callers waste all their time on yellow lights and “maybes” trying to turn them green. I want the "where have you been all my life???" people.
If they ask any question you are able to answer tell them that your design team will be in touch straight away and email me asap.
If you get a green light I'll send them the PayPal invoice immediately.
If they umm and argh about the money they can pay monthly There is no contact.
I'm sure you get the gist. Let me know if you want me write a script or if you are able to wing it. You can go through the features on the email and take it from there.
If they are not interested move onto the next. I will like to start off with just 40 leads per week and start ramping it up. I will be happy to give you commision plus the hourly rate. If you are able to upsell SEO services, you will also receive monthly comission for the life time of the client or until either one of us decides to part ways.
