Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of words: 1,698
Topic: A claim to the Court
Tone: Neutral
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: I have a problem being brief, as I can only tell events as they happened, and there seems to many important points to mention. Basically I was swindled by a PR company to sign-up, on the basis that they would secure Press coverage of my new weight-loss business. Once I signed-up they moved the goalposts saying they never intended to get me Press coverage with doing it 'their way' - positioning me as an expert first, which is utter non-sense. I have listed everything that happened in chronological order. I would like the document to reduced by 50%, but to keep ALL the important points in. I need someone who has a reasonable grasp of what the Courts would find important, and to ensure these points are highlighted.
As you can see from what has happened, I don't have a lot of money due to the situation these people have put me in, so no point sending in ridiculously expensive proposals.
I looked the company up online, and as they haven't filed any accounts for several months, there is an 'active proposal to strike them off', which suggests that they were probably prepared to promise me anything, so long as I signed their contract.
I want to try to get my money back, in case the are liquidated, which is beginning to seem likely with the way thy have been carrying on, so I need to send this off tomorrow. I am hoping someone will to do it this evening.
English [uk] native speakers only need apply.

This obviously wasn't urgent!

What's your budget?

Hi Marjorie,
This sounds interesting. Would it be in a letter of complaint format or putting it into a more direct chronology?
