Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Need support for a food-related company website.
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: We are looking for someone who can help us out with an existing Wordpress installation, making use of the Divi 3.0 theme. We know how to work with a Wordpress and have worked with Divi before, but came at a point where the technical expectations of the customer exceed our knowledge, in order to get the job done in the acceptable timeframe.
So, if you know divi 3.0 inside out and upside down, and if CSS has no secrets for you, then you might be the guy/girl that can help us with:
- make the menu appear on top of homepage picture slider
- make the social media icons disappear on homepage and appear on other pages
- implement a user-specific font-type for titles and another for text (for as far as compatibility allows, of course)
- modify the layout of the subcategories in the menu (so subcategories appear below the main menu-item)
- implement a page layout where articles are shown in 2 columns, centered and a bit smaller then the layout of the homepage. Goal is to have a picture on top of each column, which are slightly broader then the layout of the columns themselves).
- implement a page layout for certain categories of articles, where you only see "picture tiles" on the category page. These picture tiles are the featured images. Upon hovering, these images should get an overlay with text.
- make some smaller layout changes (like adapting the way "read more" is shown, replace certain icons, modify WPML-plugin icons...).
We are looking for someone that can start right away and who can make the "blog look and feel" of a website go away.
Extra services needed: Customization
Specific technologies required: Divi, CSS and common plugins (a.o. WPML).
Extra notes: To make communication easier (avoid misunderstandings and be open to multilingual websites) & to make sure we are working in the same timezone, we are looking for someone to work with based in Western Europe or North America.
