Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have a built a Flash carousel menu in AS2. The demo of the current version is available to view here:
http://dev10.stackagency.co.uk
The finished menu is intended to be run from either a USB stick on a user's local machine or via a web browser. When the user clicks the front screen (with the play button), an external SWF movie file should be loaded.
Our client has supplied all the SWF files but since they have been created in Adobe Captivate 6 they are not compatible with AS2. We are therefore looking for Flash developer to bring this project to completion through the following steps:
1. Convert existing code from AS2 to AS3 as required.
2. Complete the loading and unloading of external SWF files (we have some of this functionality in place already).
3. Complete zoom animation of loaded SWF file. It should overlay the front screen initially and then expand to fill the Flash player window.
4. Load background MP3 music file into project which should loop continuously even when external SWF files are playing.
5. Develop functionality to loop through all movie files if user presses 'Play full presentation' button.
All movieclips and graphical assets will be provided by us. The project's directory structure should not be altered as we will need to be able to update the MP3 and external SWF files in the future.
I have uploaded the following attachments:
1. One of the ActionScript files so you can get a feel for the type of code used.
2. A mockup of the screen including the 'Play full presentation' button
3. Screengrab of the project's directory structure
Our client is looking for urgent delivery on this project so please factor this into your proposal and costs.
