Description

Experience Level: Expert
We require a wordpress template designer which realize a out-of-the-crows template according to the new WordPress 3.0 specifics.

We have a good perception of what we want in terms of final results,
however, you will be free to change some details according to your
creativity license and the logo that we already sketched (but it needs to be technically realized in Illustrator).

The important is to respect the following general guidelines:

a) the template must be built thinking to a website and not for a blog. We
are going to use WordPress just because it is an opensource CMS, easy to install and to expand thank to the many plugin available;

b) we really love the style used by http://xhtmlchef.com/. We want something
that looks like that "cartoon" style. However orange should be the
predominant color.

c) the green waves displayed in the background of http://www.amtstudios.nl
are nice. If you are able to integrate them somewhere (in orange of course),
it would be nice (this is not mandatory).

d) Font used by the http://www.89bytes.com site for their main
navigation menu "Design Development Promotion" is really nice. We would like use it in the site.

e) The template should fully integrate the new navigation text menu functionality which we aim to use to expand the menu rapidly.

Further instruction will follow for the successful bidder only.

Requirements:

1) A template built in two versions; one for the home page that should be
minimal but at the same time contain all the necessary information, and one
that will be shared between the rest of the pages (see 89bytes.com to
understand what I mean)

2) The template should be ready to use. You should cut the template and
generate all the php files necessary. We are looking for a definitive zip
containing all these file that once exploded and uploaded on the server
require only the activate button to be pressed.

3) The web site with template active, without any text or plug-in installed,
should pass the W3C validation for both the HTML and the CSS files.

4) Along with the zip file above mentioned, we required the vector and/or
graphic file. We do prefer you work with Adobe products, so we expect to see
a .ai and/or a .psd file. This because if we require to change something, we
should be able to operate in autonomy.
