Hi
I have just started an advertising brokerage and comparison service and would like to trial someone doing the initial calls for me in order to free up some time.
The basic outline of the business is I phone business's who already advertise to see if we can offer a free review of their current advertising in order to see if we can save them money on their current advertising or get them more for the same budget.
We cover all forms of advertising from print (magazine and newspaper ads, leaflets etc) Online, pay per click and social media and even radio and tv.
There's not really anything to sell as the initial review is FREE and I sell it like comparing your car insurance in that most people wouldn't buy it without comparing it.
What I am looking for is someone to do the initial calls and get me appointments booked to do the reviews. The initial review only take 5-10 minutes and is free.
I was completely new to cold calling when I started at the beginning of the month and have had 5 reviews from about 130 calls so think there is a great opportunity here but am now finding it hard to balance the time to do it all as I have another business which I still run so looking for someone to do the initial calls.
I was thinking of maybe doing a trial to see how it works and if it would work and as you are an experienced telesales person maybe you could also offer some suggestions of how we could make this work in respect of arranging the reviews. At present sometimes people sometimes say phone back at this day and time and a couple of people have wanted to do it there and then so would be interested to see what you suggest for this.
We save the clients money through getting the advertising cheaper through agency rates and able to make use of last minute spaces which we are made aware of, we also have an in house team for online advertising.
How many calls do/can you make an hour (I know this wont be exact but just so I can get an idea of what we would be looking at).
Also a lot of my calls resulted in getting a name of who to deal with and a good time to phone back, if this was to become a regular hourly would this be something you can do ie phone back people at the stated times etc?
