This is a job posting for a freelancer that can assist with existing client accounts. We are a small outfit and are looking to expand the team on a continuous basis. So this would be a test project to see if we're a good fit.
We are specifically looking for freelancers from the U.S. and East Asia time zone, so we can more easily cover different time slots. During the Thanksgiving weekend, we will be needing 24/7 coverage, so availability during that time and reliability are a must.
Here is the job description:
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to assist us in optimizing our clients' digital marketing campaigns across Google Adwords and Facebook, including identification of opportunities, development and implementation of A/B tests.
The role will mainly focus on identifying optimization opportunities and setting up tests (approx. 1-4 hours per week). Bid and budget management of existing campaigns will be required in a support role in high-traffic phases. Availability for full (8hr) work days during top sales periods, e.g. for the Thanksgiving period (November 23-29), is a prerequisite.
In summary, we are looking for an analytical marketer who excels in driving results across all platforms, exhibits a curiousity in testing, and works self-directed and is looking for a flexible work schedule. The time and hours worked are flexible, except for the Thanksgiving weekend.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify trends and insights, and plan and execute new optimization tactics based on the insights.
Conduct campaign optimization and drive measurable results across Paid Search, Display and Social campaigns (Google, Facebook).
REQUIREMENTS
Proven work experience in leading and managing Paid Search, Display and Social campaigns (Google, Facebook)
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Highly creative with experience in identifying optimization opportunities and implementing A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of Google Analytics
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Excellent written and verbal English skills for direct coordination with clients
Full time availability November 23-29
Experience with managing online affiliate programs is a plus
