What you get with this Offer
Here is some information about my accessibility auditing services.
We will check your site against the WCAG 2.0 guidelines (A and AA). I will go beyond standard tick box checks because I will be manually browsing, exploring and testing the site as a real user would as well as checking for technical points such as validation of code, labels on non-text elements and so on.
I will carry out manual testing of up to 4 page templates against WCAG 2, up to level 11. I will outline the most critical issues. The site would be tested on all major desktop browsers Firefox and IE on Windows, and Safari on iOS. Mobile testing would be done on iPad and iPhone.
As part of the manual testing I will using the standard browsers and light tools like the AIS Accessibility toolbar. I also use the built in Apple, Windows and browser accessibility features and the JAWS screenreader. These are the tools many disabled people use when browsing your site so it makes sense for to use them as part of my auditing process.
A summary table (i.e. of the WCAG Checkpoints) and a summary report will be provided. The most important issues will be highlighted; i.e. the issues that will have the biggest impact on the accessibility of your site.
Email and telephone support will be provided after the report has been delivered. I will answer any questions you may have and guide you towards the actions needed to fix the identified issues.
Re: what will be checked:
After discussion with yourself I will choose representative pages and sections of your website. For example, if you have several different layouts or pages with particular functionality those will be included in the sample.
Re: My experience
I have been providing website accessibility audits for large and small organisations since 1996; I am one of the UK's most experience website accessibility specialists. It will be myself - and for larger jobs - I can bring on my colleague Richard Morton.
Re: Usability testing
I always include reference to any usability issues I come across when testing websites. However, if required, we can carry out more formal usability tests involving disabled people. If you require this service please get back to me and I will provide a quote.
