Paul Leonard founded digital consultancy agency Lignin, in August 2020—when many people might have thought it crazy to start a business.
With over 10 years’ experience in digital marketing, Paul had a sense that the business world was going to become more, not less, virtual. His instinct proved to be correct. Lignin has taken off, enabling clients to increase revenue and customer engagement through online advertising/ marketing/ web design.
Paul and his team have helped many businesses thrive by building, or improving, their online presences. Lignin works with clients of all sizes, from start-ups to enterprise. Projects include creating stunning yet functional websites and data-driven social media campaigns. As clients can attest, where digital audiences go, revenue follows. This has proven to be especially true during the pandemic, which saw a massive increase in e-commerce and remote, digitally ordered services like food delivery.
Graphics are part of the Lignin success formula, too. As Paul puts it, “A site has to have an instant visual snap. Customers will spend about one second deciding if they want to do business with you. The way you look can make a huge difference. That’s what we do.”
The Lignin approach is multi-layered. Indeed, the agency derives its name from the organic, complex polymers that support plants and allow them to survive and thrive. Lignin offers website and Graphic Design; Online stores: E-Commerce; Search Engine Optimisation; Social Media Campaigns and more. The agency can also help with support grants such as TOV’s
Taking things at a slower and more intentional pace and balancing work and family so that they both get the best of me.
I am a proud father of 7 children who are a complete reflection of my soul mate Sarah (I continue to be an awesome husband for her).
Ever since I was a child, I had a thing for computers and it grew more as an adult when I was known as the gadget geek among my mates following my passion for the Internet world. I got my education from the Greenwich University in the year 2011 where my majors were Business and Information Technology. After doing my bachelors, I did not opt for a job as I am the kind of a person who loves everyday to be a new adventure and it also gives me the flexibility to be there for my family. So I thought it was best to offer freelancing services in the area of web designing and logo designing. This worked great for me and soon I had a loyal client base from around the UK. I have a passion for what I do so it hardly feels like work.
My only motto or philosophy for life is that I want to make others happy. I love it when I see someone smiling and knowing that I am the reason behind that smile. I have worked voluntarily with many organizations and charities from around the globe. Helping others gives me a kind of inner peace that I can’t express in words.
I guess family is the most precious blessing I have been bestowed with and I love to dedicate my weekends to them. I am lucky to be surrounded by such fabulous people. I am an athletic person and keep myself busy in outdoor sports like cycling, hiking and running. It keeps me fit and lively. And most importantly I am always up for coffee and for a good taste of coffee you can almost get me to do anything. If you want to try you can buy me a coffee and I will be your buddy.
Weekdays I dedicate myself to my freelancing and I like to do one project at a time to give my clients the personal touch and full focus that their business deserves.
