I will build a single-task AI agent that autonomously completes one well-defined workflow — using LLM tool calling to interact with external APIs or data sources, reasoning through the steps required, handling errors, and reporting outcomes. A well-scoped single-task agent is the right starting point for agentic automation — it validates whether the agent approach works reliably for your use case before expanding to more complex, higher-stakes tasks that require greater autonomous decision-making capability.

The build covers task specification and success criteria, tool or function definitions, LLM reasoning loop with error handling, retry logic for tool failures, outcome reporting, and a run log for debugging and monitoring.
